E-SPLOST funding makes facility upgrades and safety revisions possible at Red Raider Stadium

Safety revisions and facility upgrades were completed at Red Raider Stadium just in time for fans to benefit from them, this past Friday night, as the Varsity Red Raider Football team kicked off their 2023 season.

In years past, fans may have found themselves forcing their way into the crowd to maneuver from inside of the stadium to the parking lot. Thanks to E-Splost funds you will now find that four dual gates have been installed for a prompt exit in the event of an emergency, to avoid possible collisions, and of course to create a peaceful, pleasant environment.

With the comfort and convenience of Raider Nation in mind, you will find that concession areas have been broadened and are now more spacious for those in line or just passing through.

While some may be moving swiftly in the direction of their destination, others tend to socialize before, during, and even after the game. Fans can now linger in newly constructed “park-like” common areas which were designed for a more comfortable feel for those in attendance as they enjoy an ice-cold bottle of water, and order of fries.

Lastly, dim areas are a thing of the past with additional lighting added for a more safe and secure facility.
