BCHS students in Mr. Jimmy Scott’s Animal 🐄 Science 🧪Class, have been busy🫲 "hands-on learning"! Students are actively taking part in preparing homemade butter from scratch. This exercise was a fun and practical way to connect what they had studied with everyday life.

Such a wonderful day, at Bacon County School District‼ Four very deserving Bacon County Middle School, eighth-grade students, who have proven themselves, to be hardworking and reliable, have been selected after a lengthy application process, and a rigorous one-on-one interview with stakeholders, to be Bacon County School District's, 2024-2025 REACH scholarship recipients. Congratulations Danica Bennett, Emmalie Breon, Jeremiah King, and Carleigh Morgan‼

There was pumpkin mania in the BCES Media Center last week! We held our first pumpkin decorating contest, which had over 50 entries! The students decorated pumpkins according to their favorite library books. Their creativity was unmatched, and they really put in the work!

Each year, Bacon County School District has the pleasure of gathering with local Veterans in their honor. This year, Bacon County Middle School had the opportunity to host this amazing event. With over 80 veterans in attendance, BCMS Principal, Derrick Green, Mr. Edmund Thrift, and his FFA officers and members, BCSD Nutrition, and so many others played an important role in the planning & preparing, and what an OUTSTANDING job that each of them did! Our Veterans are such an asset to our community & The Bacon County School District is forever grateful for their dedication and service to our country.
