BCES Community-Based Instruction at Food Lion

BCES teachers, Mr. Callahan and Miss Yearty had the privilege of visiting our local Food Lion, with their students, for a Community-Based Instructional outing. Students gained valuable knowledge of what many are tasked with daily. Each of them now has the knowledge needed to locate and purchase selected items.
Throughout the school year, the students will visit local and area businesses and organizations. This allows the students to practice life and social skills.
