If your child is NOT currently attending Pre-K at Bacon Primary this year but plans to attend Kindergarten during the 2024-2025 school year, they must be registered prior to attending! Please carefully read the following registration flier to prepare your required documentation in advance.

Last week, district-wide, BCSD celebrated "Rock Your Socks" in honor of World Down Syndrome Day. Thank you to everyone who took part in such a special day. Even our tiny Raiders "rocked their socks"!

Per eSports, Coach Brent Johnson, and River Helton, the Bacon County High School's eSports Rocket League Team is currently ranked #1 in the State of Georgia for the 1A-4A athletic division.
Currently this season our eSports Red Raiders are 6-0 (18-0 in best-of-5 series matches of which they have not lost a match.) Our BC Raiders have beaten the previous #1 team Shaw Raiders and the previous #2 team Trinity Christian Lions. This Rocket League team is on fire and on track to compete for a state championship in late April. WE ARE EXTREMELY EXCITED & #BCProud of this group of talented student-athletes‼ Outstanding job by our eSports team and their coaches‼

Jesiah Smith was selected as Raider Academy's March Student of the Month for his tremendous growth as a respectable and hard-working young man of integrity. According to Mrs. Chandra Green, Raider Academy Coordinator, Jesiah has excelled both academically and socially and has become a motivating leader within her classroom.
Congratulations! We are BC Proud of you, Jesiah, and know you will continue doing great things!

There are no limits to what BCMS will do to show students and team members how BC Proud they are! They are the epitome of encouraging others, and for that, among other reasons, each day they are growing BC Stronger‼
SOTM recipients arrived home to a "Student of the Month" sign with their picture, thanks to a BCMS team member who went "the extra mile". Also provided was a special luncheon on stage, filled with SOTM decor. Many rewards are earned, but the exciting part is each student was selected for meeting a personal goal they worked extremely hard to meet. Different levels, Same Improvement!

Bacon Elementary, third-graders created and personalized letters for our local residents at Twin Oaks Convalescent Center. Each student was assigned one name and then instructed to write a heartfelt letter directly to that person. This activity gave students experience writing a letter while practicing proper comma placement, AND encouraged them to brighten someone's day by spreading love and kindness!
Something that may seem so small can make such an enormous impact! We are BC Proud of our amazing, kind-hearted students and the outstanding leadership at BCES!

Learning with food is always a hit! Bacon Primary, first-grade students have found a satisfying way of studying their adjectives! Students eat doughnuts and then "describe" how the donuts looked, felt, and tasted to them.
Of course, their Math lesson wasn't leaving them half-satisfied! Students then used pieces of pizza to become more familiar with fractions.
