!!ALWAYS Proud to be a Raider!! Congratulations to our BCHS Raiders & Lady Raiders, who have been proudly named Region 1-A Division 1 Players of the Year! We would also like to recognize & congratulate our BCSD Athletic Director & BCHS Lady Raiders Basketball Coach, Coach Sug Parker, who has been named Girls Coach of the Year! So many OUTSTANDING accomplishments made this season by our Raiders. Way to make us #BCProud!!

Each month we share with you a group of names. Each person holding a different position within our district; yet every one playing such an huge role in our students lives. We are so thankful that each of you are part of the BCSD Team!

Bacon County Primary, Pre-K classes took a field trip to our local post office.
Students were able to mail cards of their own while learning the ins and outs of how the United States Postal Service works. Such valuable information these students are learning, at such a young age!

Pictured, BCHS students Kylin, Mariana, Diana, and David are in Mrs. Carter's Literature class building shelters as they practice a team building exercise on communication. The two students on the right had to communicate to the two blindfolded students on the left.

Bacon Primary, second grade students in Mrs. Kate Brigman's class are telling time! Students practiced this by going to one another and asking for the time. They had to read the watch and record it on their paper.

Pictured, Maci Rae, Jensie, and Vidhi have been learning about the cultural significance of Los Castells de Tarragona. These Spanish 2 students simulate the building of a Castell with paper cups.
