ALL BCSD Students & Staff will dismiss February 17th, as scheduled, and should plan to return on Wednesday, February 22, 2023‼ We hope you have a wonderful Winter Break!

Sixth grade students in Ms. Bennett and Mrs. Varnadore's Social Studies class completed a gallery walk about the Constitutional Amendments! Students moved from card to card, read the scenario, and decided which amendment applied. Awesome job getting students to engage in their lesson, BCMS!

The month of February celebrates career, technical and agricultural education (CTAE). CTAE Month is a public awareness campaign designed to recognize the value, achievements and accomplishments of CTAE programs across the country.

CTAE directly prepares students for high-wage, high-demand professions by educating them about and for the careers. The programs cover various fields, including health care, audio & visual technology, marketing, finance and many more.

We are extremely proud of the career tech courses that we offer here at BCSD, as well as the outstanding advisors!

At BCSD, safety is top priority! Today we celebrate those who play an enormous role in keeping us safe on a day to day basis. Happy National SRO Day to these three phenomenal officers! We are #BCProud you are on our team!

BCHS Red Raider Soccer defeated Montgomery County tonight and are currently ranked top 10 by MaxPrep!

Bacon County School District, technology fair participants, grades 3-12, who placed locally and/or during region competition, received an invitation to attend the February, Bacon County School Board monthly meeting to be recognized for their hard work & achievements. Thank you to all who encourages our students to stay active & reminds them to have fun while they learn‼️

YGA is a writing competition that exists to encourage students to develop enthusiasm for and expertise in their writing, to provide a context to celebrate their writing successes, and to recognize student achievement in arts and science.
The competition has been engaging Georgia’s students for more than two decades and is open to any student currently enrolled in Georgia public schools.

Thank you to our Local Farm Bureau for bringing the Ag Experience Mobile Classroom to Bacon Elementary this week.
The students had a blast! and learned a lot about our community industries, agriculture, and science.
A special thanks to Ms. Sara Walker for organizing, promoting, and recruiting lots of community helpers to teach our students.
