‼️October is Principal/AP Appreciation Month‼️ Principals and Assistant Principals were honored at the BOE monthly October meeting. We are humbled to have the most amazing leaders!

Mrs. Carter's fifth grade, ELA Class, gears up for their weekly "Book Club" meetings. The club gets together daily to read a required book on their level, and then share with their group on Friday's. Each student brings a different perspective to discuss in depth, while drinking hot chocolate to give a "Book Club" vibe! Literature circles provide a way for students to engage in critical thinking and reflection as they read, discuss, and respond to books.

BCHS Lady Raiders softball are headed to Columbus to fight for the title of Elite 8! Join us TOMORROW at NOON to wish them the best of luck on their way out of town!

Congratulations to our BCHS Lady Raiders who are headed to Columbus, Georgia on Tuesday, October 25th to compete in the Elite 8!

BCES encourages students to "Read to Lead". In essence they encourage students to read what they enjoy and award them by the number of words they have read, rather than the number of books. This leads students to selecting books that they will thoroughly read and comprehend. BCES, fifth grader, Rayna Taylor, was the first to reach the "One Million Word" goal this 2022-23 school year.
