BCMS FFA had 4 members compete in the Georgia National Fair Mini Booth Contest at the National Fair, in Perry, Georgia.
Maylee Screws placed 1st with her theme- "What Kills Georgia Pines?"
William Komanecky placed 2nd - with " GO Away Bugs".
Brennlee McElroy also placed 2nd with" Shucks, Corn's Great".
Morissa Johnson placed 3rd with" Pick of the Patch- Pumpkins".
Each member had to design a 3 dimensional booth to promote something in Agriculture. Congratulations to each of these outstanding students and their advisor!

BCHS FFA members attended the Georgia National Fair, in Perry, Georgia on October 11, 2022. Seven projects were submitted to the Georgia National Fair Judges and six of those placed. Congratulations to our outstanding BCHS FFA members and advisors!

October 13th, Raider Cafe teamed up with Prime Food Brokers’, Whitnie Dixon, Regional Sales Manager for the state of Georgia, to bring BCMS students samples of a new cheesy pizza bread. Students were given the option to taste test these samples, while many jumped back in line for seconds. School lunch is definitely a highlight of the day at BC! Thank you to our amazing Nutrition Director, Mr. Robert Aspinwall and his outstanding nutrition staff for their endless effort to give our students the delicious and nutritious meals that they enjoy!

Upgrade in BCHS’ Engineering and Business Lab. BOE & BCHS technology departments joined together to ensure students had the technology resources they needed, installed! Thanks to SPLOST money that our local Bacon County citizens contributed, our students were provided a full computer lab with up to date technology. As always, we are grateful for our community and we are BC Strong because of you‼️

There will be no school for BCSD students and staff on Friday, October 14th, and Monday, October 17th. Students and Staff will return Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

The SOAR After School Program at BCMS is off to a great start! During the program, students receive supplemental Science and Social Studies instruction, complete enrichment & STEM activities, and participate in a PE activity.

The softball game has been canceled against Glynn County for today, October 12, 2022, due inclement weather. This game will not be a make up game. See you October 18th and 19th at Super Regionals!!!

BCES is in their second year of their "One Million Words" campaign. Did you know that reading an extra 10 minutes per day can help students be proficient readers by learning new vocabulary, which makes them academically more successful?
BCES encourages reading at home because they want their students to "Read to Lead", so far BCES students are lighting the path with an amazing 12,071,964 words read for the month of September!

Important information on ticket purchases‼️
BC will be hosting the Super Regional Softball Tournament. Please follow the instructions concerning Go Fan. We can not accept any passes other than the GHSA and Official's pass. We will not accept CASH during the tournament. The first game will be played at 11:30am and your Bacon County Lady Raiders will play at 1:45 pm.
