Legislators rely heavily on the viewpoints expressed by their local constituents when they make important decisions regarding education issues. By coming to Atlanta and actively participating in a day of visiting the Capitol and meeting with legislators, FCCLA members and advisers can be an effective voice for our organization. A visit to the Georgia Capitol also offers students an opportunity to view first-hand the state government in action and to learn about the judicial and lawmaking processes. Your chapter is encouraged to participate.
On Monday, February 12th, BCHS FCCLA Chapter members attended Day at the Capitol and were able to meet Governor Kemp and First Lady Kemp.

BCMS students in Mrs. Varnedore and Mrs. Sasser’s 7th-grade math class practiced analyzing data sets to create box plots by using the Spin the Problem group structure. Students are grouped, and then given a certain amount of time to work on the problem in front of them. When time is called, students must spin the problem they were working on to the next person in their group and then work on the new problem that has been placed in front of them. We are incredibly BC Proud of our students and how they grow BC Stronger each day!

BCES celebrates "Hot Diggity Dog" Day each year in memory of their beloved coworkers and friends, Mrs. Debra Sears and Mr. Trent Trowell.
They celebrate love and sprinkle a little extra kindness to students and staff on this occasion. Team members greet students with uplifting messages on posters, and music to lift their spirits, as a small token of their love for the students and their school! We are #BCProud to have an amazing team at Bacon County Elementary School!

READY, RESPECTFUL, and RESPONSIBLE, these students were named Bacon Primary's Raider Kids for the month of January! We are BC Proud of each of them and the outstanding example that they set for their peers!

We have a week packed FULL of amazing events! Come out and support our Raiders! We can't wait to see you there!

The BCHS Theatre Class has released dates for their upcoming production, Cyrano de Burger Shack. Tickets will be $10 each, and we look forward to sharing this unforgettable experience with everyone!

Today our Varsity Red Raider Basketball team and coaches have traveled to Temple High to compete for the State Championship. We are extremely BC Proud of the hard work and dedication invested by these gentlemen and their coaches. We are cheering for them LOUD & BC Proud!

The BCHS Red Raider Regiment Band has been invited to perform at the 2024 Gatornationals on Saturday, March 9, 2024. This is such an honor and a phenomenal opportunity! Congratulations ladies and gentleman. We are BC Proud of you all!
