Our mighty Lady Raiders basketball team and coaches finished the Division 1 Region 1 tournament as the #3 seed for the state tournament. Today they traveled to Heard County to take on the Lady Braves in the first round of the GHSA state tournament! We are cheering load and #BCProud! Wishing them the very best of luck!

BCMS FFA recently participated in an Area 6 CDE hosted by Ware County. Hayden McCarty competed in the Lawnmower Driving Contest. Hayden had to complete a written test, and a problem-solving test and was required to drive the course correctly. Hayden did a great job representing BCMS.
BCMS FFA livestock judging team did very well with a very young team. They had to evaluate (judge) two classes of breeding heifers, two classes of hogs, a class of sheep, and a class of goats. They also had to complete a written exam about livestock and give a set of oral reasons. The livestock judging team placed 14th out of 27 teams.

A Raider Kid displays being “READY”, “RESPECTFUL”, and “RESPONSIBLE” even when they think no one is watching! We are BC PROUD to know that even our smallest students have brilliant minds, exceptional manners, and enormous hearts! Congratulations to each of them for standing out in months past. There is no doubt we will see these friendly faces in upcoming BC Proud recognitions as well.
