BCMS Football defeated Brantley County Middle 44-24 yesterday. Offensively the offensive line paved the way for Keyondric Dixon's four rushing touchdowns. Amare Ryals made some great decisions at QB and had 2 key third-down conversions. Offensively there were zero turnovers. Defensively they were able to slow Brantley down at times and made a few key fourth-down stops. Amir Smith also had a 65-yard KO return for a touchdown on special teams to seal the win for the RED RAIDERS! Great job to the coaches on their preparation and game planning. Big game next week against Ware County Congratulations BCMS Football team and coaches!

These BCES students were recognized for reading the most words in their homerooms for the month of August! They were rewarded with a trip to the new book vending machine! Congratulations BCES students you are on the way to "A Million Words"! Read to Lead!

Raymond Newberry is the Student of the Month for the Raider Academy. Mrs. Chandra Green, Raider Academy Coordinator shares that Raymond was chosen this month because he is an outstanding young man, who works relentlessly to reach his daily goals. He is a hardworking student of integrity and character, who perseveres and gives his best daily. Congratulations Raymond!

We miss them when they're out and they miss out on important learning material.
