Bacon County High announced their 2023 Prom King and Queen Saturday, April 22nd, during their annual Senior Walk ceremony. Mr. Carson Jarrard and Ms. Dakerria Smith proudly represented their peers who cheered for them as BCHS teacher, Mrs. Ryan Beecher so joyfully placed their crowns. Congratulations to BCSD's very own royalty!

Excellent things are taking place within BCSD! From inside the classroom, to the athletic facilities....from inside the Raider Regiment Band Room, out to the Agriculture Barn. We are excited to share what's in store for this week!

BCSD celebrates Administrative Assistant Appreciation Week April 24-28, 2023‼ These ladies are the first faces you see when you arrive, the first voices you hear when you call, and the first to eagerly assist you in any way possible. They know each student by name and care for them as if they are their own. We could never list the endless duties they fulfil because of their love for our schools.

Two Bacon Primary students were caught in action at their Spring Bookfair. One student assisted her peer in adding the cost of the books she had chosen. Together they subtracted their total from the money she had to spend to see what was remaining. The two classmates then discussed what may be a good choice of book for the remainder of the money.
So many great things happening here...adding, subtracting, money sense, life skills, process of elimination, helping a neighbor, being kind. We are unbelievable proud of not only our students intelligence, but that they're kind people with beautiful souls.

Mr. Will Garrett, BCMS/BCHS Band Director, strongly encourages band parents especially those who are first year, and all band supporters to take part in the May Band Booster Meeting, tomorrow, May 2, 2023.

Georgia Milestone and End of Course Testing is scheduled this week for a large portion of BCSD students. Please encourage your child to do their very best. Please share with them the test taking tips provided below. We are confident they are prepared and we can not wait to see their great gains‼️ Thank you for all that you do to prepare your child for success!

Raider Kids are selected by standing out in positive ways. They demonstrate being Ready, Respectful, and Responsible, just as a Raider should.
