An Instructional Coach is an educator that is supporting teachers in their daily practice to improve student learning outcomes. BCSD is extremely fortunate to have this group of ladies who will conquer any task, big or small to benefit their team! The Bacon County Athletics Program was awarded the Georgia Athletic Directors Association (GADA) Regions Director’s Cup for the 2022-23 school year, this prestigious award recognizes the top overall athletic program in the state in each classification and is judged objectively by awarding points for each team’s finish in the state playoffs. The Red Raiders competed in the Region 1- A Division 1 classification and finished with 594 points which placed them as one of the premiere programs in the state. Out of 285 schools that were judged, Bacon County finished at 119. This is huge for our local high school athletic department and was all made possible in a team effort by BCSD Athletic Director, Sug Parker, student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and booster club members who contributed to another fantastic year in Bacon County Red Raider Athletics! With seven region champs in 2022-23, and eight BC coaches named Coach of the Year, it is evident why they have received the very HIGHEST achievement presented by G.A.D.A! We couldn’t be more “BC Proud” of their dedication and determination.

The BCMS Raider Roasters, students in Mrs. Garrett's class, have been working hard to fulfill coffee and snack orders for BCMS teachers each week. Their goal is to foster independence, communication, and job skills! Pictured are Nate Foster and Ms. Regina Wood.
