BCSD Technology Fair Students Compete in Region
On Friday, January 27th, students from BCES, BCMS, and BCHS traveled to South Georgia State College in Waycross to compete in the Okefenokee Region Student Technology Contest. This contest is held annually between all counties in our RESA area. Bacon County students won numerous categories. First-place winners will advance to the state competition held in Atlanta. We are proud of our students!

BCSD Grade Bands 5-6: Animation; 2nd Place-Asher Boatright, 3rd Place-Lillian Johnson. Graphic Design; 1st Place-Aly Grace Dyal & Addison Youmans. 3D Modeling; 3rd Place- Peyton Peacock. Device Modification; 2nd Place- Madi Bowen. Digital Photography; 2nd Place- Bentlee Jordan & Lola Boatright, 3rd Place- Madden Williams & Kynland Hennesy. Multimedia Applications; 1st Place- Sophie Haddock & Breigh Durrance, 2nd Place- Mattie Stauffer. Grade Bands 7-8 and 9-10: Multimedia Applications; 1st Place- Robert Komanecky. Device Modification; 1st Place-Nash Thomas & William Komanecky. Audio Production; 1st Place- Payton Spikes. We are beyond proud of those who placed, but also EVERY student who took part.
