BCHS Engineering students in Mr. Johnson's class, were tasked with designing a STEM toy for children ages 4-6 years old that would teach them a concept in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. These young men built a Marble Run that students could use basic mechanics to divert a marble multiple ways to complete the run.

Miss Yearty's and Mr. Callahan's classes had a wonderful time on their outing to Ryal's Clubhouse, in Baxley. These students were provided this trip as a PBIS reward for achieving their positive behavior goals. The Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support program (PBIS), encourages students to practice positive behaviors and has been proven successful at Bacon Elementary. Ryal's Clubhouse is a family entertainment center and party room designed for exceptional students. After leaving the clubhouse, students received a sweet treat at Holt's Bakery where they selected and paid for their dessert treats!

FCCLA State Office, VP of Community Service, Mia Carver and FCCLA Region 9 Officer, Taylor Pritchett assisted with Region 9 STAR Events on Saturday, February 11, 2023! FCCLA is producing WONDERFUL community leaders!!

Mrs. Cothern’s third graders were excited to share the ways their interactive board helps them every day! Staying on task, it makes learning fun, & even makes them feel welcome when they first arrive, just to name a few! Technology is one of many ways your E-SPLOST contributions are put to work for Bacon County students!

Mr. Travis Peavy & Ms. Tina Thompson are both very excited to deliver their students home today, in NEW BUSES! This purchase was made possible by the citizens of Bacon County and their contributions to E-SPLOST. We are forever grateful and #BCStrong because of each of you! Thank you!

!!ALWAYS Proud to be a Raider!! Congratulations to our BCHS Raiders & Lady Raiders, who have been proudly named Region 1-A Division 1 Players of the Year! We would also like to recognize & congratulate our BCSD Athletic Director & BCHS Lady Raiders Basketball Coach, Coach Sug Parker, who has been named Girls Coach of the Year! So many OUTSTANDING accomplishments made this season by our Raiders. Way to make us #BCProud!!

Bacon County Primary, Pre-K classes took a field trip to our local post office.
Students were able to mail cards of their own while learning the ins and outs of how the United States Postal Service works. Such valuable information these students are learning, at such a young age!
