April 10-14, 2023 is National Media Specialist Week. This week BCSD will celebrate our three local Media Specialist in appreciation for all that they do.

March 13th-17th is National School Board Appreciation Week‼ Never could we list all of their selfless acts, or their endless hours of dedication to our students and student athletes, that they willingly dedicate EVERY SINGLE DAY! Each one of our Bacon County Board of Education Members go above & beyond FOR OUR CHILDREN!!!! Please join us as we extend our gratitude to each of them! Help us celebrate Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Turner, Ms. Wright, Mr. Beach, and Mr. Parker because not a day goes by that they're not celebrating us!

FCCLA chapter members competed at FCCLA Region 9 STAR Events on Saturday, February 11th, at Long County High. Jacob Tanner scored Gold and placed 1st in Chapter in Review Display and he will advance to State in March. Trey Varnedore and Triniti Crosby scored Gold and placed 1st in National Programs in Action and they will advance to State in March. Sydnee Tuten and Madi Norris scored Silver and placed 2nd in Professional Presentation and they will advance to State in March. Gage Lee scored Silver and placed 3rd in Chapter Service Project Display!
